Earle Mack’s Public Service
Earle I. Mack has held multiple public service positions, including serving as a chairman, director, and member on a number of boards and organizations. Earle Mack served as the Chairman and CEO New York State Council on the Arts from 1996 to 1999. Earle Mack also served as the Chairman Emeritus for the New York State Council on the Arts in 1999. Before these positions, Earle I. Mack served on the Film Panel of the New York State Council on the Arts from 1979 – 1980.
Earle Mack has also been deeply involved as proponent of the arts as well as a contributor to other philanthropic causes. He is particularly dedicated to seeing that the entire arts community in New York flourishes and continues to gather public and private sector support for such organizations as the New York City Ballet, the American Friends of the Paris Opera & Ballet, and Friends of Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design.
