On Sunday, August 18th, 2024, Ambassador Earle and Carol Mack invited friends and contemporaries to Southampton to participate in the screening of Once Upon a Time in Ukraine, a short documentary film produced by Amb. Mack and directed by Betsy West. The film tells the emotional story of the Russian invasion of Ukraine through the eyes of four Ukrainian children.
To complete the evening, Chairman of the Council on Foreign Relations, David Rubenstein, and award winning journalist Judith Miller led a discussion of the current state of the conflict in Ukraine, followed by a seated dinner at Le Charlot.
